Team News
Ashley Cole will once again be missing for Chelsea in Sunday's Premier League game against Liverpool.
England left-back Cole sat out Wednesday's Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk with a hamstring injuryand manager Roberto Di Matteohopes he can return for next weekend's trip to West Brom.
John Terry will be pushing for a start on Sunday after he was surprisingly left on the bench in midweek, while Frank Lampard is still out.
Match Notes
There is a certain irony to the fact that Fernando Torres, former Liverpool hero and sold in 2010 for £50 million, is perhaps now the one Chelsea player who would not get into his old team.
Both clubs are attempting this season to play a more expansive style of football but, although Liverpool have the outstanding striker in Luis Suárez, Chelsea's overall strength in depth should be too much.
